This series consists of application for mineral leases with accompanying correspondence regarding the application. Included are notification of success of application, extracts from the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette, copies of statutory declaration, notices of withdrawal of application for a lease, applications for the substitution of name of applicant for mining lease and other forms of relevance. The applications are vertically folded dockets for which the back of the application for mining lease form functions as the cover of the docket.
